Who doesn't like blogging for management????

I have to say that writing a blog for the management class was a really good idea. Maybe the blogging style can be modified a bit so that way it’s a more personal way to contact your fellow classmates. Having a picture of yourself is definitely a must when it comes to the blog. If you are blogging on someone else’s page and you have no idea how they look or who they are it sort of ruins the purpose of interacting with your classmates. You could literally written on some person’s blog two minutes before class and then just passed them going into class. That’s just wrong, you should know whose page you are writing on.Other than that I do not think the blog needs to be changed. I found it very interesting and fun. Definitely something that should be kept.
Making the blog part of your grade is also a good idea. It is such an easy way to make sure you get an A in something in the class lol….All you have you to do is give your opinion on a subject and then respond to other peoples opinions and you have an A. Being able to easily control your grade like that is very good.
I don’t think I will continue writing on this blog because I just don’t have the time to sit down and write my thoughts. It would be a waste of time to continue because whose really going to sit down and read my thoughts. It just something that won’t happen. Still this blog is a great idea and definitely should be kept for future classes.

I agree with you that the blogs are a good idea but it defeats the point of "getting to know someone" and not even realizing who they are. I think the blogs are a good way to get our opinions out and meet other people in the class and i'm sure that was one of the intentions of this assignment but without knowing who you're talking to, you're never going to meet or even talk to the person in person. The blogs are a good way to finally have some control over something and like you and probably a lot of other people, I won't be keeping up with this blog because there are just way too many other things that need to be done.

I def agree with you that the blogs are a perfect way to saty in control of a part of our grade. I prob wont be keeping up with this blog either its so hard when there are soo many other things that need to get done and if no one is really reading it I think its silly to write it.

Yeah, you are right. The blogs assignment was really helpful to interact with the other classmates outside of class. Sharing each other’s opinions is really great thing to do because I can compare mine to the other’s. Also, you mention about having a picture of yourself on blogs. Of course, I would be very curious about the person who left comment if there are no picture right next to the comment. I have a friend whose pictures were on her blogs. One day somebody played with her pictures on purpose on Internet in the wrong way. After seeing that, I stopped uploading my picture on internet. I know I worry too much. My friends say I am overacting.LOL
As you said, professor Kurpis was really generous to let us handle our grades by blogs assignment. Giving the sincere feedback to somebody is an important part because our feedback can effect on some other people's thoughts.

Also, I think this blogs assignment should be kept for next semester. It gave us a chance to interact with the other students. Also, it helped us to reflect the topic one more time and leaded us to a better understanding by sharing various points of view.Besides, I could improve my writing skill.

We really need to make the blog more personal. I thought maybe randomizing groups then you write on the blog of your group members.
